I develop my first Direct mail marketingcampaign at the age of 10. I traced Mutt andJeff cleaning up the yard with rakes from theSaturday comics and hand lettered the flyer. Itwas mimeographed on a gestener mimeograph
machine.The results of the simple flyer we're so great thatmy father quit his job as a milkman and did thebusiness full-time as he had earned his entire
years wages as a milkman in six weeks.

This was the start of a business that lasted for decades.
It was also the start of my lifelong passion for marketing
